The LockNet Technician App is a great tool for all of our techs out there. Compatible with iOS and Android platforms, this app makes communicating with LockNet about your service calls faster and easier than ever.
The first version of the technician app allowed technicians to:
- View all open work orders
- View work order instructions
- Check in and out leaving a description of work performed
- View IVR instructions
- Call LockNet directly from the service call
- View parts
- Upload job-site images
We have made several upgrades since the conception of the technician app:
- The ability to view the store location on a map and navigate to it directly from the service call
- View parts status and tracking information directly from the service call
- The ability to pinch and zoom work order and parts shipping details
- Soon, technicians will also be able to fill out door surveys directly from the app
