With Duke pulling away with the championship title last night, it’s hard to believe that here in Wildcat Country we were actually celebrating what we thought was the probable ninth banner to be hung in Rupp Arena’s hallowed halls with our annual March Madness potluck just last Friday. Unfortunately, fate had something different in mind when Wisconsin crept ahead of UK in the Final Four game and pulled out a surprising win.

However, on Friday, sprirts were high and the amount of food… well, it was just insane. We had everything ranging from jalapeno dip to donuts to beer cheese and absolutely nothing disappointed. It was all delicious and, I’m sure, completely devoid of calories.

With LockNet’s amazing growth, it was no shock to see many new faces enjoying some quality social time together throughout the day. It was a great way to chat with people and catch up with what’s been going on. Of course, basketball was the main topic of conversation but nothing bonds people faster in Kentucky than a mutual love for the Kentucky Wildcats.

All in all it was a great day.

Besides, only 192 days until Big Blue Madness.
