It’s December and whether we like it or not our calendar is filled to the brim with holiday parties and events. Just last week I had to juggle four different events around that were all holiday based. Thankfully, since my parents live down the street from me (literally – 13 houses) they were able to take over Evie’s holiday event so that I could attend LockNet’s holiday party.
I’m so glad they did.
A bunch of door and lock nerds partying at the local watering hole? It doesn’t get any better!
I’m just kidding. We aren’t nerds at all.
(Well, not all of us.)
LockNet Celebrates the Holidays
On Friday, LockNet celebrated at a local watering hole called the Tap House. The Tap House is known for it’s wide selection of craft beers and since we have a group of guys here who love to brew their own beer, that’s always a hit.
The Tap House doesn’t serve food but we had the party catered by Minton’s at 760. The menu varied and everyone seemed to be able to find something that they liked and with a crowd as large as ours I’m going ahead and calling that a success.
Even though the party was technically scheduled only from 5:30 until 8:00pm, almost everyone stayed much later. There was great music to dance to and for December the weather was fantastic. In fact, with it being in the mid-60s, a large majority of the people stayed on the patio most of the night.
All in all, I’m pretty sure everyone had a great time. (I haven’t heard any complaints yet!) I hope everyone gets to enjoy one good holiday party or two this season and if not, I hope you are able to enjoy time with friends and family. At the end of the day, that’s what’s most important.
Merry Christmas, everyone!
