I subscribe to dozens of industry blogs and RSS feeds, one of my favorites is Lori Greene’s ‘I Dig Hardware’. She has excellent insight into new and functional products and creative means to handle regularly occuring issues. In her post this morning she discusses this amazing product that was introduced at DHi’s CoNEXTions 2012 yesterday.

It’s the closer pressure equalizer, and it addresses this recurring issue… when stairwells are pressurized to prevent smoke from entering, the doors can become incredibly difficult to open and/or close. No one has come up with a conclusive way to release the pressure until now…this product seems to be perfect for doing just that. Read the full article here.
