Locks and Links: The Video Newsletter Edition

LockBytes > Locks and Links: The Video Newsletter Edition

locks and linksIt has been more than a while since we’ve done a Locks and Links and I feel like we are more than overdue.

Come on.

Who doesn’t love a friendly round up of some of LockBytes’ most exciting material?!

Except this week I’m venturing out a bit; expanding my horizons, if you will.

If you weren’t aware, LockNet switched up the format of its newsletter last year. We went from a written newsletter to video and it’s become one of my favorite projects. It’s fun for me and (hopefully) educational for you.

So, I thought, why not put some of the best in one place for everyone to enjoy? Let’s get started!

Locks and Links: Video Newsletters

You House Isn’t Haunted, You Need Door Maintenance

I don’t know how I couldn’t start with this one. It’s my favorite video to date. Not only did Eric and I get to wear costumes, but it’s a fun look at a fairly boring topic. Door maintenance can sometimes have the same characteristics of a haunted house. Doors opening by themselves? Squeaky hinges? Slimy fluid leaking from your door closer? Could be a ghost or it could be you need to do some door maintenance.

Are Your Doors Prepared for Black Friday?

Black Friday is always a huge day in the retail world so what better topic to talk about on a video newsletter focusing on security? This one hits on ways you can make sure your doors are prepped for the big day. Eric and I touch on everything from malfunctioning door closers to dragging doors. Needless to say, it’s a good one.

Security Credentials

This happens to be the last video newsletter of the year and also one of my favorites. It’s chock full of good information about badges, keys, and other stuff, but also because Eric and I crack up a few times and it always makes me laugh when we can’t keep it together. It definitely makes the newsletter more fun. Everyone likes a little fun with their education. That’s a fact.

If you have other favorite Locks and Links, we’d love to hear about them. Leave us a comment or contact us here! Or you can leave us a comment ON one of the newsletters. We make it really easy for you to tell us you love us.
