The [not so] Dreaded LockNet App Update

Bytes from LockNet > The [not so] Dreaded LockNet App Update

I have way too many apps on my iPhone and, it never fails, almost daily one of my favorites requires an update. There are some that I’m excited to update, and others only to get rid of the annoying circle hovering on my home screen. The best and most popular apps are constantly changing, improving and evolving and the LockNet app for technicians is no exception to that rule.

We’re lucky to have formed great working relationships and friendships with our technicians, who give us regular feed back (the good, the bad, and the ugly) on operations, improvements, and even the LockNet app. Who better to get development advice from then the folks using it on the regular?!

LockNet App Updated:

With guidance from some of our most frequently used technicians, we added the ability to track parts for open service calls. In an age where information is available at the touch of a button or the open of an app this update will, no doubt, be well received by users.

But technicians won’t be the only benefactors in this update;  with real time updates there will be no need to call in for shipping information and scheduling conflicts. Part delay and outdated information will be a thing of the past. Customers will also notice increased service representative availability for customer interaction and issue resolution. Check out the screen shot of the new app feature below. For more information or to download the app, click here.
