Introducing LockNet’s Chief Morale Officers

Bytes from LockNet > Introducing LockNet’s Chief Morale Officers

Let’s be honest, we all have stressful days at work.  Fortunately (or unfortunately), I can tell when many of my co-workers are having one of “those days” because they will come to my desk to visit with one of our Chief Morale Officers (CMOs).  Who are our CMOs you ask?  Allow me to introduce you to our office dogs:

office dogsCody

Cody is a 6 ½ year old Field Bred English Cocker Spaniel.  In his glory days, he competed in agility, but now settles for a jubilant off-leash run at the park.  Cody is the king of begging.  If someone brings in a delicious smelling meal, Cody’s chin is promptly resting on their lap while he gazes longingly at the food.

office dogsOllie

Ollie is a 3 ½ year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.  He is quite possibly one of the most laid back dogs I have ever met, and seriously, who can resist those puppy eyes?  His trademark at the office is “trashcan spelunking” and knocking over waste bins in search of food.  Bad doggy!

office dogsKiwi

Kiwi is a 9 month old German Sheppard puppy.  She has endless amounts of energy and is quite the lover.  Until her puppy energy is restrained a bit more, she is gated in one of our cube groups – except for when she gets excited that is.  I believe we have gone through 3 gates as she keeps leaping higher and higher to escape.

These hard working employees earn their keep by getting pets, playing fetch, and stealing food.  Rough life huh?  An increasing number of companies are allowing dogs at work – studies have shown it reduces stress and increases employee morale.  Aside from the occasional food thievery, our CMOs seem to validate those findings.  One thing is for sure – these pups have it good!
